You Must Be Willing To Die For It

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” Matthew 13:44

Matthew 10:39 “Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for My sake, will find it.”

Most people want the blessing of Abel with the sacrifice of Cain.

a. Many want change
b. Many say they want change
c. Many agree they need to change d. But, many, don’t change

“The problem with this world isn’t only a lack of knowledge, but the application of what we do know.”

Mark 10:17-22 “As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. You know the commandments, “DO NOT MURDER, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, DO NOT STEAL, DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, Do not defraud, HONOR YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER”. And he said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth up” Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, “One thing you lack; go and sell all you possess and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; for he was one who owned much property.

Here are some thoughts to help:

  1. There’s usually one or more things you aren’t willing to obey or let go of. The devil has a way of training us with pain, comfort, or convenience so that the day Jesus asks for all, we won’t give it up. We may say how much we have done but we are protecting the things we don’t want to give it up.

Don’t let your birthright be taken by stubbornness, pain, distrust, comfort, or convenience! Where are you holding back? It’s the key to a breakthrough!

  1. Only full-out diligence pleases the Lord! Faith is always all in. I see people OK IF THEIR destiny, miracles, hearing God, etc happen but I don’t see a lot who are selling all because they see it as a treasure!

When God invites it’s a treasure! Let’s go all in!

“But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  1. Our fear doesn’t appease God, just the devil, yourself, and those you are afraid of”

I know the pain is real but the promise has to be bigger. Read the story of the talents in Matthew 25:14-27…the man who was afraid lost all. It seems to serve us but its ways are not a savior, it’s our enemy & an enemy to your destiny.

  1. It may not be your fault! Take a deep breath…some people don’t know this. We live in a society where obedience, sacrifice, commitment, diligence, or being all in is vilified or too much, but that’s what the Kingdom moves forward with.

Even in the natural, I know this millionaire & he tells his staff that his mantra is, “whatever it takes”.

Another father in the faith told me this, “you can handle 10 times more than this”

I find people would almost be killed for sin when God wasn’t with them but when it comes to Christ everything is too much. It’s crazy how the enemy doesn’t defeat us, he just convinces us we are but not today!!

It’s your time to rise! Let’s be those who run the race, sell all for the treasure, & follow His voice to win Him the gold medal.

Humility is like our Heavenly Father. Jesus was God but didn’t ask for worshippers, He asked for followers of His Ways which were just His Fathers for an example for us. That’s humility.

Worship is the Start but Not the Finish

I worship quite a bit. I’m in the secret place. I talk about the secret place a lot but people think worship alone will awaken people, equip them, convict them, change them, or send them but it’s just the start & the foundation for all of the above.
