Prayer sets the stage for the impossible, but it is Resisted by the enemy, the flesh, & not rewarded by the popular ministry. God rewards it & makes you a machine!

Principles of Prayer

1. Faith drives prayer! Heaven is the bank. His WORD is the availability of the need (money). Prayer in Christ’s name is the signature for blank checks (prayer requests Heb. 4:16)

Faith is the beginning & the reward of prayer.

It’s possible.

You need faith to begin, but then you get more faith after you end.

Most folks who pray are HUGE IN Faith. Hebrews 11:6

2. Heart is everything – we have to actually receive God’s heart for individuals, families, cities, & nations.

To receive His mantle, you must receive His burden of prayer.

As a mother whose child I’ll has an inability to focus UNTIL her child is better, we should adopt the burden of prayer, heart, & mantle for people’s, cities, & nations’ recovery.

To pray through, we must have a heart to receive His burden.

The same disciples who couldn’t pray for one hour could fish all night. Your priorities

matter.

Maybe OUR HEARTS being broken by God’s agendas are more important than just faith itself 🥹

Isaiah 62:6, Matt 7:7-12

3. Prayer is to Pray Heaven ways into earthly beings, systems, & countries more than things.

Yes, we need things, but systems being fixed keep needs from being needed or provide a continuance of prosperity.

Prayer isn’t so much getting things…it can be, but we will always ask to provide things that keep coming because of a broken system, so more like FIX the systems of our hearts, marriages, systems, & cities. God does more than just provide.

Do we want His things or systems? The longer, more established but yes harder, is saying your ways oh Lord, over mine. You will replace ours. Your systems, please replace ours.

It brings heaven & its ways to earth.

“He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.”

Psalms 103:7 NKJV

4. We Pray Corporately, but God is looking for surrender personally.

Charles Finney said, “Prayer is more God changing us than us changing Him.”

Prayer is us coming to God UNTIL God pours out, but maybe God is cleaning us out so He can use us to answer that prayer through us.

One of the biggest limitations to many prayer movements is the compartmentalization of prayer being their main calling. We do pray, but I firmly believe that much of the body has stunted God’s growth because we pray, but then we don’t obey.

Charles Finney (called him the apostle of revival) said praying without preaching or action is frustrating the move of God or preaching without praying.

6. Pray like you can’t be denied – they used to say the NT saints & those saved in great awakenings prayed as though heaven couldn’t deny their prayers.

Are you praying like heaven can’t say no?

Read Hebrews 11:6

7. Pray according to His Word

His Word is His revealing of what is both possible & permissible to contend heaven for its implementation here on earth.

“God, you said this, we need You to do this.” It Is Written!

I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. Psalms 138:2

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” I John 5:14 NKJV

8. Pray like nobody else is praying

We are often bound by sovereignists or a providence theology that encourages our less-than-on-fire response to prayer.

It’s convenient to think God’s Will will just happen anyway. If we think someone else is praying or someone else will pray, or it will happen anyway, then we don’t pray.

Prayer is the partnership between Heaven & the people on earth. It’s up to us to govern this world as the Ekklesia with prayer.

9. Prayer storm – our prayers bring storms that water all the ground of the region or world we pray for with the presence of Jesus.

It started with a WORD from Elijah for King Ahab: “Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.”

& it turned to prayer…then a cloud the size of a man’s hand…& then the storm.

Our prayer should be initiated by the Word (His voice through Scripture & to us prophetically), prayed through until we can see the formation, & then acted upon (Elijah ran) as the formation begins to release.

Will you pray?????

10. Keep Praying – keep praying until. It has to go through 🥹.

Galatians 6:9, Isaiah 62:6, 1 Kings 18👇

I Kings 18:41 NKJV

“So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up, looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass the seventh time that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’” I Kings 18:42-44 NKJV

11. Limitations to prayer

a. Selfish prayer – James 4:3

b. Against His Word – people pray for married people to marry them, for God to hurt people, for God to go against His Word in theology. Everything is possible IF IT’S in line with His Word

c. Prayer doesn’t replace obedience

If it’s a replacement for our obedience. Jesus rebuked His disciples multiple times when THEY were responsible for stopping storms or believing in multiple breads, etc.

Once, I KNEW I WAS unhealthy but DIDN’T want to diet or exercise, so I called Andrew Wommack, known for Grace & faith. I figured it would be the last place to tell me or prophesy the truth. But the guy said, “I just feel you are supposed to exercise!!!” I didn’t want to hear that, but sometimes we need to get jobs, exercise, preach the Gospel, start ministries, START something, obey, etc.

d. Sin – if you are a believer, your own known lifestyle of sin will limit your faith.

“Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” I John 3:21-22 NKJV

If you have made it so far, God bless you! You may be desirous of change.

Love you guys!!

P.S.

Okay, #5 was Deleted. I guess

The basis of prayer is the belief that things aren’t as they are supposed to be, but God has given us the power & access to change those things… it’s called prayer.

In Matt 6 & Luke 11, Jesus said to pray, “on earth as it is in heaven”, because He knew it was not, & it won’t be.

God’s Will doesn’t just happen. God’s revealed Will doesn’t mean He owes us those things, nor do they automatically happen. He just offers them as a covenant for us to APPLY.

His Will happens through men! God works with men & limits Himself to men.

Here are some good prayer Scriptures.

Exodus 32:10-14, Psalms 106:23, 115:16, Ezekiel 13:5, 22:30, Isaiah 59:16, 62:6-7, 63:5, Jeremiah 5:1, Amos 3:7, Luke 22:31-32, Romans 15:30, Gal 6:2, 1 Timothy 2:1-2, 1 Peter 3:12, 2 Peter 3:9

Since sin entered this world, we are in a war. Evil vs good. People are used by principalities & are also used by the Lord.

It’s our job to fight on behalf of His Kingdom…we are His people 🥹

Our responsibility as sons & daughters is to represent the world to God as one who is on a board. Just like there are different board members with companies, schools, & ministries, we are on the board of heaven & it’s our job to pray (casting a vote or motion) to move heaven to fix earth.

God raised us with Christ and seated us in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus!” Eph 2:6

God has entrusted to us this ministry (2 Cor 5:17-21) & expects us to fulfill our role.

This is the power of prayer!!!

Love you guys

Worship is the Start but Not the Finish

I worship quite a bit. I’m in the secret place. I talk about the secret place a lot but people think worship alone will awaken people, equip them, convict them, change them, or send them but it’s just the start & the foundation for all of the above.
