Divine Provision: The Power of Obedience

Provision is With Obedience!

I saw this recently… Jehovah revealed Himself as Jireh only AFTER Abraham sacrificed his son Isaac.

Whoaaaaa! Even In Philippians 4:19, where God promises to supply our needs, it was after their giving to Paul!

So many times, we look for blessings without sacrifice.

Let’s make sure our hearts are MORE on the giving and obedient side than the asking side.

When love is in full force, sacrifice expresses that love. When love is growing cold, small acts of love or obedience are irritating.

Ask the Lord to change your heart so obedience returns to the place of love.

Praying for your hearts. Love you guys!

“Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress. Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:14-19 NKJV

“Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together. Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”” ~ Genesis 22:2-3, 6, 8-10, 13-14 NKJV

Humility is like our Heavenly Father. Jesus was God but didn’t ask for worshippers, He asked for followers of His Ways which were just His Fathers for an example for us. That’s humility.

Worship is the Start but Not the Finish

I worship quite a bit. I’m in the secret place. I talk about the secret place a lot but people think worship alone will awaken people, equip them, convict them, change them, or send them but it’s just the start & the foundation for all of the above.
